Reorganization of HIKAP Booni.

Re-organization of HIKAP
In the year 2007 we the young members of the community of teklasht Booni sit together and decided to establish an organization to promote the youth members of the community. In this way an organization named Hindukush paragliding Association for paragliding (HIKAP) was registered in the year 2007.
Some of the main objectives of the organization were as under
1    To engage the youths in healthy activities
2    To produce the resources of Income generation
3    To promote social values among the young generation
4    To promote tourism in the region
5    To promote paragliding and sustain it in Chitral
District Chitral which hosts the highest peek of Hindukush mountain range.‘’Terich Mir’’ has been identified as one of the ideal place for paragliding in the world. The sport was introduced in Chitral by foreign Tourists from Europe and US, during the last decade. It was the natural phenomena that the local youths inspired and started dreaming to learn this thrilling sport and adopt it as an emerging sport in Chitral.
That time Mr.Saifulla was the only PG pilot in chitral, so it was suggested that he should be the president of HIKAP.when he became the president, he involved many people from chitral town without consulting the executive body, and the founder members of (HIKAP).
Within a year further charges against him have proved that he was not capable as president of the Organization. The paragliding team had achieved  a  hundred and more than seventy thousand rupees  as prizes during their visits to swat valleys  in the years of 2009,10 and 11
The amount of money deposited in the bank was withdrawn and used by the president and his friends from down district, without consulting the founder members Executive body and PG pilots, from Booni, because  the deposited money was belong to them. In the result of further investigation it was conformed that 73 thousand rupees were left in the account of HIKAP. At that time Complain was made to the social welfare office and the concerned benk. Consequently interest was lost and the Association was left in Dormant Position.

AS HIKAP was registered with social welfare KPK and is not authorized to provide license to use areal space in any part of the country, therefore the HIKAP PG pilots had to establish a club to be registered with PAFF so that they could participate in any National Event including Shandur Event, because PAFF is the only Association in the country which is authorized to provide licenses to any PG pilots in the country.

To provide licenses to the PG pilots of HIKAP Booni ‘Terich Mir’ paragliding club (TPC) was established, in the village Booni .The central village of upper Chitral. TPC has been affiliated with Pakistan Association of free flying (PAFF) and enjoy the cooperation of the very supportive team of PAFF.
Since than some of the recently learned paraglider pilots of chitral town including the ex (HIKAP) president Mr. Saifulla planned to continue activites through HIKAP.During this time The old and founder members of HIKAP were replaced by new members unconstitutionally and  through fake documents grants from various authorities in the country was taken and divided among the few leading members.
It is worthily important to mentioned their names here Mr.HAji shahzada farhad Aziz ,Mr.Meraj,Mr.sarwar katur and mr.Saifulla are the main characters of the scene. They have taken ten hundred thousand rupees directly from tourism department, and wings from cloud base foundation using the good name of (HIKAP).They have kept the concerned authorities in the dark.
It is clamed by the founder members and executive body of (HIKAP) Booni that how it is possible that an association which is established and the head office based at village Booni is run by another group come from another tehsil, situated 75 Km away from the main office of HIKAP Booni. Therefore through these lines we ask the concerned authority to go through the mater properly and decide who is justified with facts.
For further conformation of the mater and  proof All the related documents are attached.

My first cross country flight

My first cross-country Flight.
It would be relevant to mention with great pleasure that I launched a success full 2 hours and 44 minutes flight that started from Zanni pass (12777 ft) and landed at Khot valley. The maximum altitude was 17200 fts. (covered distance 52 km)
With me was a foreign pilot who made his track toward Chitral town. When I took off I decided to fly to Shah Lasht.a beauty full tourist spot of the Khot valley. There was a local festival and I had already been invited in the festival. I stayed in the festival spot for 2 days. I participated in the festival and made many short flights from near by hills. The organizers and local people were very happy for my participation in the festival because paragliding was a new sport there in the valley which was introduced first time by me.

Foreign PG pilots Visit Chitral.
Zani pass (12777 ft) is an ideal launching point amongst  PG pilots, which attract a great number of  cross country pilots every year.
This year four cross country pilots from France , Serbia And Balgharia stayed in Booni for nine days, before they set off on their marathon gliding spree from Zani pass to Gilgit. They made many flights from Zani pass to surrounding village eg. Booni, Awi, Mastuj to prepare themselves for long cross country flight. Eventually, on Fry day, they took off from Zani pass and landed in Gilgit province but one of them namely Fancios came back to Booni to re-continue his flight and I accompanied him to Zani pass once again. At 8:30 am we took off and tried to gain enough altitude but he could not maintain his flight to Gilgit due to bed weather.
One of the unfortunate incident was that Mr. Fancios’ GPS was damaged and he was very disturbed. On Saturday he decided to go to Gilgit by road because the weather is forecast un- suitable to fly.
It was a good opportunity for local pilots to achieve a better flying skills from foreign cross country pilots. However Terich Mir Paraglidin Club (TPC) welcome all domestic and international Pilots to visit Booni, Chitral.
